QwikBaba Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information across all our platforms, including the QwikBaba app and QwikSeller app.

- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address.
- Order Data: We store details of products you order, order history, and payment method (we never store full card numbers).
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect real-time location to enable hyper-local delivery and show nearby products.
- Device & Usage Data: We collect device identifiers, IP address, app usage patterns, and crash logs to improve performance.
- Camera and Media Library: With your permission, we access your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to upload product images, store banners, and customer support attachments.
- Notifications: With your permission, we may send push notifications regarding order updates, business insights, and account alerts.
- Communications: If you contact us via chat or email, we retain those records to provide support and improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process orders and coordinate hyper-local delivery to your address.
- To send order status updates, delivery confirmations, and receipts.
- To personalise your in-app experience (recommended products, saved addresses).
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- To comply with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and court orders.
- To send marketing communications — you can opt out at any time.
3. Sharing of Information
- Delivery Partners: We share your name, address and order details with delivery partners to fulfil your order.
- Merchant Sellers: Sellers receive confirmation of your order, but not your full personal profile.
- Payment Processors: We share transaction data with payment gateways (Razorpay, UPI) to process payments securely.
- Analytics Providers: Aggregated, anonymised usage data is shared with analytics partners for product improvement.
- We never sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Data Retention
- We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
- Order history is retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax regulations (GST compliance).
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@qwikbaba.com.
5. Data Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption.
- We follow industry-standard security practices including regular penetration testing and access controls.
- In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
6. Your Rights (PDPB Compliance)
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Deletion: Request erasure of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

7. Children's Privacy
- QwikBaba is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email at least 30 days before they take effect.
